1 pkg. spice cake mix
3 eggs
1 can apple pie filling
3 tbsp. water
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

TOPPING:

1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 stick butter, softened

Combine cake mix, eggs, pie filling, water and nuts. Mix well. Pour into a greased oblong pan. Combine topping ingredients in a bowl. Mix with a fork until crumbly. Sprinkle topping mixture on cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until center springs back.
