SAUSAGE MOSTACCIOLI | |
1 lb. sausage 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. onions 1 lb. canned tomatoes 6 oz. can tomato paste 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. each oregano & pepper 8 oz. mostaccioli 1/2 lb. sliced Mozzarella cheese Fry sausage until browned. Cut sausage and remove. Add green peppers and onions to fat in skillet and saute. Drain off fat and add tomatoes, tomato paste, water and seasonings to skillet and simmer about 10 minutes. In a 2 quart casserole dish, layer macaroni, sausage, cheese and repeat. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
