| EASY CHEESE CAKE MADE W/ BOX CAKE MIX | |

Delicious and so EASY!! 1 pkg. your choice cake mix (white or Devil's food) CHEESE MIXTURE: 1 to 2 lb. tub Ricotta cheese (I use part-skim, store brand is fine) 2 eggs 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare cake mix according to package directions and place in a greased and lightly floured 13x9-inch pan. I prefer Devil's food. In a separate bowl, mix cheese ingredients until creamy (can do with a whisk or wooden spoon). Pour cheese mixture on top of cake mixture, lightly (not too much) knife into cake batter. It will have a marbled look to it. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 50 minutes. Insert cake tester or toothpick into cake part only, when it comes out clean, cake is done. My family loves it! I made this cake as directed then the cheese mixture. The cheese mixture all sunk to the bottom of the cake. I used the 2 pound ricotta as listed. I think 2 pounds was the problem being too heavy. Tasted ok but disappointed.
