NANA'S GREAT PORK OR LAMB CHOPS 
4 med. thick chops (pork or lamb)
1 can chicken broth or consomme
Garlic salt
Pepper
1 lg. chopped onion
1/2 chopped green pepper
Barbeque sauce
6 tbsp. uncooked long grain white rice

Sprinkle chops with garlic salt and pepper. Place on top of rice, peppers, and onions. Pour chicken broth and bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour. Turn over chops, using a pastry brush paint chops with your favorite barbeque sauce. At this time you may add a mixture of barbeque sauce and water to the rice to keep the rice from drying out. Cover and bake for the last 1/2 hour.
