SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
6 eggs, separated
3 c. sugar
3 c. Swans Down Cake flour
3 sticks butter
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Have egg yolks, butter, flour, and sour cream at room temperature. Mix egg yolks, sugar, flour, butter, and sour cream; beat real good. Beat egg whites real stiff. Beat into cake mixture. Add flavorings. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees in tube pan. Caramel Icing can be used.
