SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 1/2 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups cake flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 cup dairy sour cream (about 8 oz.)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time. Sift cake flour and baking soda together. Add one third of flour, then one half sour cream, another one third of flour, sour cream, etc. Add vanilla and lemon extract.

Bake in tube pan one hour and 15 minutes or until done at 325°F.
