RAISINS AND CHOCOLATE CHIP DROPS 
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. each salt and baking soda
1 c. each raisins and chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, beat in egg and vanilla. Mix flour, salt and soda. Gradually blend into creamed mixture stir in raisins and chocolate chips.

Drop from heaping teaspoon onto greased or nonstick baking sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. 10 to 12 minutes. Let stand a few minutes on baking sheets before removing for cooling.
