BUFFET POTATOES 
2 lbs. frozen "hash browns" (Ore-Ida) thawed
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. grated cheddar cheese

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. crushed cornflakes
1/4 c. butter, melted

Mix topping ingredients together and set aside. Combine potatoes and 1/2 cup melted butter. Add next six ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with topping. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours (until brown and bubbly).
