HAMBURGER AND POTATO CASSEROLE 
5 or 6 med. potatoes
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, sliced or chopped
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. self-rising flour
1 c. grated cheese
Salt and pepper to taste

Peel and slice potatoes into thin slices. Boil in salted water until fork tender. Drain. Brown ground beef and onions in a skillet. Drain. Mix together milk, flour, salt, and pepper until well blended. Line a square casserole dish with a layer of the potatoes, then a layer of meat and onions. Repeat layers until dish is filled. Pour milk mixture over all. Sprinkle cheese over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Serves 4.
