FRIED CLAMS 
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2/3 c. milk
2 eggs
1 qt. clams

Beat eggs and milk together, add sifted dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Add clams, either whole or cut into pieces. Fry in deep fat until a golden brown.
