4 c. heaping diced apples, unpeeled
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 beaten egg
1 tsp. butter flavoring
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda

Mix apples with sugar and let stand to draw own juice. Combine oil, beaten egg, butter flavoring and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and soda together. Add to above and mix. Mix in apples and 1 cup chopped pecans. Spread in 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
