CHOCOLATE CHIP COFFEE CAKE 
Cinnamon Crumble:

1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder

In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together until combined. Set aside.

Cake:

1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream
Cinnamon Crumble (see above)
1 (12 oz.) bag small chocolate chips

Cream butter and 1 cup sugar. Beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to first mixture alternately with the sour cream. Mix in the chocolate chips.

Grease a 9x13-inch pan. Put 1/2 of the batter in the pan. Sprinkle most of the sugar-cinnamon mixture on top. Add rest of batter and finish sprinkling the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture on top. Bake in a 350°F oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
