TURTLE CAKE | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 3/4 c. melted butter 2/3 c. evaporated milk (1 sm. can) 1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels 1 c. chocolate bits 1 c. nuts, chopped Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Add butter and 1/3 cup of the milk. Pour 1/2 of the batter into a well greased 9"x13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Melt caramels and 1/3 cup of milk together. Pour over batter that's been baked. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate bits over caramel mixture. Add rest of batter. Bake 20 minutes until done. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
