HAWAIIAN COCKTAIL MEATBALLS
1 1/2 lbs. ground chuck
1 lb. very lean sausage
2 eggs
1/2 c. bread crumbs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
Dash of pepper
1 sm. onion, minced

Mix eggs, milk and bread crumbs. Add all other ingredients. Mix well. Shape into meatballs the size of large marbles. Place on cookie sheets and broil until done. At this point, meatballs may be frozen for later use. When ready to serve, make the following sauce.

SAUCE:

1 tbsp. butter
1 sm. onion, minced
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. catsup
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. water
1 bay leaf

Saute onion in butter. Add other ingredients. Simmer 15 minutes. Add meatballs and heat. To serve, place large can of drained pineapple chunks and 8 ounce jar olives, drained, in a chafing dish. Pour meatballs on top and toss lightly.

If any meatballs are leftover after your party, they're good served later on rice for a family meal.
