BEEF POTATO MOUSSAKA 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
2 (8 oz.) cans or 1 (1 lb.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. each nutmeg & coarsely ground pepper
4 med. potatoes, peeled & cooked
2 eggs
1 1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. Italian type grated cheese

Brown beef and onion lightly in large greased saucepan. Add tomato sauce and seasonings, bring to boil, cover and simmer about 20 minutes. Slice potatoes about 1/4" thick and arrange half in greased 2 quart casserole. Cover with meat mixture, then top with remaining potato slices. Beat eggs and milk and pour over mixture. Sprinkle with the cheese and bake in preheated moderate oven, 350 degrees, about 45 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes.
