MARYLAND CRAB CAKE 
1 lb. frozen crab meat, thawed
1 egg
1 tbsp. melted butter (butter) you can see how old this is
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. celery seed
2 tbsp. mayonnaise
Salt to taste
1/4 tsp. red pepper

Remove all fibers and bones from thawed crab meat, place in large bowl. Add egg, butter, mustard, celery seed, mayonnaise and red pepper. Mix well. Add salt and cracker or bread crumbs enough to make firm patties. Fry in butter slowly until brown on both sides. Serve hot. Makes 8 or 9 good sized patties.
