HOMEMADE PANCAKES 
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
2 egg yolks
2 c. milk
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 egg whites

Measure and sift the dry ingredients. Add the milk gradually, beating to make a smooth batter. Add the beaten egg yolks and melted butter. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake on a hot griddle. Makes 8 medium sized cakes.
