SWEET AND SOUR MEAT 
2 lbs. boneless meat or 3 lb. ribs
2 tbsp. oil
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. soy sauce
2/3 c. vinegar
1 can pineapple chunks
Pineapple liquid and water to make 1 cup
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped

If pork ribs are used, boil and simmer 10 minutes to extract fat. Drain and dry. If boneless meat is used, cut in 1-inch chunks. Fry in hot oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, flour, and sugar. Stir to brown well.

Add remaining ingredients; simmer 1 hour. Best if chilled and fat is removed before serving. Reheat and serve over rice or dry Chinese noodles.
