SWEDISH BAKED BEANS 
1 lg. apple, chopped
1/2 c. chopped onion
4 strips fried bacon, crumbled (or sm. piece ham)
1/4 c. sweet relish (optional)
2 (16 oz.) cans (4 c.) canned baked beans
1/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. catsup
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
3/4 c. brown sugar
Dash of cloves (optional)

Bake covered in 2-quart casserole at 250 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours. Serving: 12.
