NUTTY FINGERS 
1 1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. pecans, ground or very finely chopped
2 tsp. vanilla
Confectioners' sugar for rolling

Cream butter. Add sugar and blend until light and fluffy. Add flour, salt, pecans and vanilla; mix well. Chill dough. When ready to bake, shape about a teaspoon or more of dough into a finger size roll. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and roll in confectioners' sugar while warm. Roll again when cooled. Yields: 4 to 6 dozen.
