1/2 c. butter 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. enriched flour less 2 tbsp. 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped pecans 1 tsp. vanilla extract Powdered sugar Cream butter and sugar. Combine the flour and salt and add to the creamed mixture. Add pecans and vanilla. Shape into 1/2 to 3/4 inch balls, place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Remove from oven and cool slightly; roll in a generous amount of powdered sugar. Let cool completely and roll again in powdered sugar. Yield: 3 dozen. |
