LADY FINGERS 
1 c. butter
2 tsp. water
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 box 4X sugar
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, chopped

Cream butter and sugar. Add water and vanilla. Mix well. Blend in flour and nuts. Chill 4 hours. Roll into finger shapes about 2 1/2 inches long. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 325 degrees approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly and roll in confectioners sugar.
