LEMON FROSTING 
2 3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon peel

Combine confectioners' sugar, salt and egg; blend in syrup. Add shortening, vanilla, lemon extract, juice and peel; mix until smooth and creamy. Add more sugar to thicken or enough water to thin frosting until of spreading consistency.
