FROSTED LEMON SQUARES 
2 cups flour
1 cup butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
4 whole eggs
Juice 2 lemons
4 tbsp. flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Icing:

1/3 cup butter
3 cups sifted powdered sugar
3 tbsp. whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 oz. cream cheese

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Beat together the flour, butter, and powdered sugar in the bowl of a mixer or food processor.

Press mixture into an ungreased 13x9-inch pan.

Bake for 20 minutes until a light golden color. Beat the eggs. Add lemon juice, flour, sugar, and salt. Mix and pour over baked crust.

Bake at 350°F for another 25 minutes until a golden brown.

Let cool completely before icing.

Icing:

Cream the butter and sugar together. Add whipping cream and vanilla. Cream he cream cheese into this mixture. Spread icing over the cooled lemon layer, allowing icing to harden. Cut into squares.

Makes 48 small squares.
