CHEESE ONION PIE 
CRUST:

2 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. melted butter

PIE:

4 onions, sliced
1/4 c. butter
1/2 lb. grated Swiss cheese
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 beaten eggs
1 c. scalded milk

Saute onions in butter. Pour into bottom crust. Mix cheese, flour and salt. Add eggs and milk. Pour over onions. Bake at 325 to 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Garnish with chopped chives (optional).
