PINEAPPLE PUDDING 
5 c. sugar
1 c. flour
6 egg yolks
6 pineapple slices
2 boxes vanilla wafers
3 tbsp. vanilla
2 cans cream

Put sugar, cream, flour, egg yolks and vanilla in large kettle and stir on medium heat. Let boil and stir until thickens. Take off heat and pour over sliced or chunk pineapples and cookies layered in large bowl or pan.

Use egg whites for icing. Beat with mixer until thick. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 or 3 tablespoons sugar. Mix it in and pour over pudding. Brown if desired for about 5 minutes. Can substitute bananas for pineapple.
