BAKED DEVILS FLOAT 
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. nuts
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

SAUCE:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 c. hot water

Sift flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and cocoa together. Mix milk, butter, vanilla and nuts. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Pour into well greased 8 x 8 inch or 9 x 7 inch pan. Make sauce (above) and pour over cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes. May be served hot or cold and is great with ice cream.
