KAREN'S PECAN PEAS 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 (7 oz.) pkg. pecan pieces
1 stick melted butter
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 stick melted butter

Thaw peas and mix with onion soup, chopped pecans and 1 stick melted butter. Place in greased casserole. Mix Rice Krispies with 1/2 stick melted butter and spread on top of casserole. Bake 20 minutes at 325 degrees. This recipe may be doubled or tripled and can be used to stuff pre-baked acorn squash. Guaranteed to please even a pea hater.
