COCONUT PECAN POUND CAKE | |
1 c. real butter 1 1/3 c. sugar 5 eggs 1 tbsp. vanilla 2 c. sifted cake flour 1 c. coconut 1 c. pecans Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add sifted flour a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Add coconut and pecans. Beat well. Pour into tube pan. Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees. |
