COCONUT PECAN POUND CAKE 
1 c. real butter
1 1/3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. coconut
1 c. pecans

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Add sifted flour a little at a time, beating well after each addition. Add coconut and pecans. Beat well. Pour into tube pan. Bake 1 hour at 300 degrees.

Fabulous flavor, but dry. Next time I plan to make a thin milky pecan and coconut icing that I pour over fruit cocktail cake and pour over this too. That will be oh soooo perfect I think.
