SESAME CHEESE MUFFINS 
1 1/2 c. pkg. biscuit mix
3/4 c. grated sharp process American cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. fat
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. toasted sesame seed

Mix together biscuit mix and 1/2 cup of cheese. Cook onion in fat until tender, but not brown. Combine egg, milk, and onion; add all at once to biscuit cheese mixture and beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Fill well greased 2 inch muffin pans 2/3 full. Sprinkle tops with remaining cheese and sesame seed. Bake muffins in hot oven (400 degrees) for 12 to 15 minutes or until done. Serve warm. Makes about 16 muffins.
