GARLIC ROASTED CHICKEN 
4 tbsp. butter
6 med. chicken legs
6 potatoes
24 garlic cloves, unpeeled
Salt
1/4 c. maple syrup

One and 1/4 hours before serving, in roasting pan at 400 degrees melt butter; remove pan from oven. Cut chicken legs apart or joints and cut potatoes into bite sized chunks.

Place chicken, potatoes, and garlic in pan. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon salt and turn to coat in butter; arrange chicken, skin side up; bake 40 minutes basting occasionally. In cup milk syrup and 1/2 teaspoon salt and brush onto chicken mixture; bake 20 minutes longer.
