LENNIES' CHILI
2 lbs. ground turkey or chicken
2 lg. cloves garlic, chopped fine
1 med. onion, chopped fine
3 to 4 tbsp. corn oil
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 can red kidney beans
1 can cannelini beans
1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes

Place oil in a frying pan. Add finely chopped garlic and fry until golden in color. Then add finely chopped onion and fry until golden brown. Add ground turkey or chicken, mix, and heat until all the raw color has disappeared. Pour off excess liquid and set aside.

In a large pot put crushed tomatoes. Add red pepper flakes. Add meat mixture. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and cook for 1 hour. Then add drained beans and cook for another 1/2 hour. Enjoy!

Serving suggestions:

1. Place split English muffins on plate and pour chili on top.

2. May be served with mashed potatoes and a salad.

3. Any leftovers? add franks, cut in pieces, heat and eat with buttered bread.

4. May be frozen and used at a later date.

NOTE: When chili gets cold, it gets thick. Do not add water. Heat over medium flame and cook slowly, stirring often.
