SAUSAGE BREAD 
1 pkg. (3 loaves) of frozen bread dough
1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
1 lb. bulk sausage, browned and drained

Options: Mozzarella cheese, sliced mushrooms, browned and drained pepperoni, chopped green chilies.

Let bread dough thaw overnight in refrigerator (it is not necessary to let dough rise). On greased cookie sheet spread one loaf of dough into a rectangle. Divide all ingredients into thirds. Place a narrow layer of all ingredients down the center of dough. Pinch edges together lengthwise and at end to close. Place seam side down on greased cookie sheet. Brush top with beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seed, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm. Repeat process with remaining loaves and ingredients. The extra loaves, when prepared, can be frozen and baked at a later date. They freeze well.
