ARTHUR'S SNEAKY BREAD 
4 c. water
3 c. rolled oats
7 1/2-8 c. all-purpose flour, approx. (may take more)
2 pkg. yeast
2 tbsp. salt
4 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 c. molasses

Boil water. Pour over oatmeal in a large bowl. Mix and let cool until it's warm (90-110 degrees), not hot. Stir in yeast and 2 cups flour. Shoo Mouse out of the kitchen. Let the dough rise, uncovered, in a warm, draft free spot, until doubled in bulk. Do not let Mouse feed it to Arthur! Punch down, work in salt, salad oil, molasses and enough of the remaining flour to make a stiff dough. Knead on a floured board. Add more flour if necessary; knead until dough is smooth, pliable and firm (about 10 minutes). Shoo Mouse out of the kitchen.
