ORIENTAL CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 can mushrooms
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 tsp. curry
1 tall can evaporated milk
1 c. cooked cut-up chicken
1 lb. fresh or 10 oz. frozen cut broccoli
1 (3 oz.) can chow mein noodles
1 c. shredded cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drain mushrooms, reserve liquid. Melt butter in large frying pan, add mushrooms and onions. Cook over medium heat until onions transparent. Sprinkle evenly with flour, salt, pepper and curry powder. Stir until blended.

Add enough water to reserved mushroom liquid to make 1/2 cup liquid. Add to mushroom mixture, stirring constantly until smooth; blend in evaporated milk, cook until thickened. Add chicken, broccoli and noodles. Turn into buttered casserole dish. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
