BUTTERMILK BISCUITS | |
3 c. self-rising flour 3 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. powdered sugar Stir up above good. Cut in 1/2 cup solid shortening; add 1 1/4 cups buttermilk (I use sweet milk). Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Knead a few times; roll out and cut into biscuits. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until done. Cool and freeze. |
