1 1/4 c. soft bread crumbs 12 mushrooms 3 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. onion, chopped 3 tbsp. celery, chopped 1/2 tsp. salt dash pepper 1 tsp. lemon juice Crumble fresh bread to make 1 1/4 cups bread crumbs. Remove mushroom stems and chop fine. Melt butter in skillet. Add chopped stems, onion and celery. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and crumbs. Mix well. Fill mushroom caps. Place in greased baking dish. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Serves 4. Submitted by: Emily Pereira |
