Turtle meat Flour Salt and pepper 1/2 c. red wine 1/2 c. water 1 sm. onion, diced Cut the meat from the bone. Roll in flour and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown in skillet of hot oil. When pieces are browned, add wine, water, and onion. Simmer until meat is tender, about 1 hour. Serve hot. |
