OLD FASHIONED TEA CAKES 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
3 eggs
Pinch salt
1 2/3 c. milk
2 heaping tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
4 to 6 c. flour to correct consistency

Place sugar and butter in large mixing bowl and set in microwave about 30 seconds. Cream together and add eggs, salt, vanilla and milk. Stir well. Add about 1/3 of the flour and stir well. Add more flour and stir until the consistency of soft cookie dough. Flour the dough board and work in a little more flour. Roll out and cut. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown at 400 degrees.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
