2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. buttermilk
2 sticks real butter, room temp.
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream sugar, butter; add eggs and buttermilk. Sift flour, and add flour, baking powder, soda and vanilla. Mix well. This will be very thick. Form large ball. Pinch off and form small balls. Place on cookie sheet. Flatten with glass covered with piece of small cloth. Bake at 350 degrees for maybe 10 minutes.
