1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. flour

Mix well. Dough will be stiff. Roll to desired thickness on floured board, cut out and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 400 degree oven until slightly brown.
