OREO COOKIE DESSERT 
1 pkg. Oreo cookies
2 tbsp. butter
2 (1 1/2 qt. ea.) tubs vanilla ice cream (I use Breyers Natural Vanilla)
1 (12 oz.) jar hot fudge ice cream topping (Smucker's)
1 (16 oz.) tub Cool Whip

Crush Oreo's fine (save 1/4 cup for top). Melt butter.

Mix cookies, butter and 2 cups of ice cream and press into 9x13-inch pan. Add remaining ice cream. Add fudge topping (save some to sprinkle on top). Add Cool Whip. Sprinkle with remaining cookies and fudge topping.

Note: Each layer is easier to work with if each layer is frozen before adding the next.

Must be kept frozen.
