QUICK HAMBURGER HASH 
1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 med. size onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 c. shredded raw potato

Brown ground chuck and onions. Stir in salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Mound potatoes over meat; cover pan and turn heat to medium. Cook 20-25 minute, stirring occasionally from the bottom.

Hash can be served at this point; however, if you prefer crispier potatoes, remove cover and continue cooking, stirring until potatoes are brown.
