CAROB FUDGE 
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. water

Boil until mush. Beat with electric beater until smooth.

Add:

1/4 c. carob powder (or cocoa)
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. shredded coconut, optional

Combine all ingredients and put into 9 x 9 inch square pan. Cool in refrigerator.
