SPOON BREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. milk
3 well beaten eggs

Cook meal and 2 cups milk on top of stove until consistency of mush, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, add salt, baking powder, butter and 1 cup milk. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Pour into greased 2 quart baking dish and bake in moderate oven (325 degrees) for 1 hour. Serve with butter.
