DESIREE'S PORK CHOPS AND APPLES | |
4 to 6 pork chops 3 to 4 apples (any kind) 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1 tsp. cinnamon 4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter. divided salt and pepper, to taste Preheat oven to 400°F. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet. Season pork chops with salt and pepper and then brown in butter. While chops are browning, core and slice apples. Put apples on bottom of large roasting pan. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top of apples. Cut remaining 2 tablespoons butter into little pieces and scatter over apples. Put pork chops on top of apples. Cover with foil. Bake in preheated 400°F oven for 1 1/2 hours. Serve with some of the baked apples on top. Enjoy! Serves 4 to 6. Submitted by: Desiree |
