COWBOY HASH 
1 lb. ground beef
3 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
Dash of pepper

Brown ground beef, drain. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into a casserole dish. Top with 1 cup grated cheese. Heat in oven at 350 degrees until cheese is melted.
