HAM AND ASPARAGUS QUICHE 
Bake 2 (9 inch) pastry shells as directed.

FILLING:

Saute 2 green onions, chopped tops and all, 1 cup diced lean ham, 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced, 1/2 cup chopped tender fresh asparagus, in 2 tablespoons butter.

Mix together 4 or 5 beaten eggs, 1 1/2 cups half and half, dash of nutmeg, dash of garlic powder, paprika, basil and pepper.

Layer 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, the egg mixture and the asparagus mixture, top with chopped fresh parsley and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Makes 2 (9 inch) pies.
