CHEESE STRAWS | |
1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks) 1/2 lb. sharp cheese (you may use extra) 2 c. self rising flour Dash of red pepper Let butter stand at room temperature. Also, grated cheese. Gradually cream these two with flour then add dash (or more) red pepper. Put into cookie press. Squeeze out on cookie sheet. Bake at 300 to 350 degrees until crisp. I check every 2 or 3 minutes and turn pan around. |
