MAMA'S CHEESE STRAWS 
3/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
3/4 c. softened butter
2 1/2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Blend cheese, butter, add dry ingredients. Flatten dough to 1/2 inch thick, refrigerate 1 hour. Cut into thin strips and twist. Bake on cookie sheet at 350 degrees about 10 minutes (don't brown). Store in airtight container when cooled.
